When The road has no way launched last year, it has become a instant classic in my eyes. The peaceful world with no backing and many opportunities to explore left me captivated. On PC, the game launches with a year of Epic exclusives. But now The road has no way finally out On steam with a substantial discount and packages to boot. The game was developed by the people at Giant Squid who also created Abzu. However, unlike the latter, The road has no way more focused on gameplay and progression, as opposed to a more relaxed push forward.
Until November 23, The road has no way 35% off sale. It is currently $25.99 USD, which is a very reasonable price considering the quality of the game and the amount of content on offer. The game also has two new bundles on Steam, if you like. First pack it with Abzu, will run you $43.68 at the moment (makes Abzu under $20, if that sweetens the pot). Then there’s a soundtrack package for $8.56 USD more. I think maybe you will really want Listen background music before buying it outright, so that’s going to be a bundle you’ll want to complete in a bit.
The road has no way Launched on Steam
The road has no way is a third person adventure that puts you in the role of an archer helping the guardian heal the land. The game world is divided into five zones, each with its own puzzles and bosses. There are no maps and or icons telling you where to go, so you have to look around and find places to travel the old fashioned way. Due to the design of the game, it works beautifully, creating a deeply engaging experience that is both reflective and engaging. While the game isn’t terribly long, I strongly recommend doing all the optional stuff, as it really adds to the game (and gives your character some cool new abilities).
