The misconduct complaint against Judge Emmet G. Sullivan is officially dismissed
The formal complaint against Sullivan was filed as part of an unusual yearlong effort by a judge, Laurence H. Silberman of the United States Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit. Silberman accused Sullivan of unethical behavior for sitting on the nomination committee, which he said was “the exercise of great political power.”
