The Matrix Awakens PS5 ‘Experience’ Leaked Online
An image has leaked of what looks like a Matrix Awakens tie-in game for PS5, at least it’s being made in the Unreal Engine.
After many years, Matrix will return to the cinema with Matrix Recovery, the sequel to the series, although no one is sure which direction it will take. With one New teaser for Matrix Recovery reveal ticket sales time, it is sure to attract a sizable crowd.
With how much is still known about Matrix Recovery, there’s a lot of speculation and hype about what it could be and how Matrix generally can be done. One extra-movie sphere it might touch is video games, and it looks like there could be at least one new addition on that front.
A leak reveals the existence of what appears to be a Matrix video game project titled Awakening Matrix. As of this writing, very little is known about the title except that it will be on PSN and otherwise on PS5 and that it is being worked on in Unreal Engine. In fact, it’s called “The Unreal Engine 5 Experience”. This came quite soon after Matrix intersect with Fortnite leaked, illustration Matrixefforts to reintegrate into popular socialism.
According to this article, it is unknown how many, if any, Awakening Matrix will actually attach Matrix Recovery, or even if it will be a full game. After all, if it’s billed as an “experience,” it could simply be a tour through parts of the Matrix and its lore that haven’t been revealed before. If it’s a game, it might not have much to do with the movie, though Matrix Recovery Reuniting the main cast, which players will certainly enjoy controlling.
When Matrix Recovery can achieve success either a great failure, the success or failure of Awakening Matrix largely different from the movie. Prior to Matrix titles have stood on their own and become favorites even as they are adaptations of lesser-known films.
Hopefully the end result will be a good video game in Awakening Matrix and a good movie in Matrix Recovery, but even either would be cause for celebration. While the film’s scriptwriter stated that Matrix Recovery subvert blockbuster expectations, only time will tell if it does so in a good way or a bad way.
