‘The Making of Incarnation’ book review by Tom McCarthy

“The Metamorphosis,” for those who stumble upon the title, is the name of a movie — “an epic space opera in the framework of Star Wars, with princesses, kidnappers, pirates , smuggle”. Its special effects design is the ostensibly theme of many chapters of the book. The consulting company for this work is Pantarey Motion Systems, a high-tech outfit whose motion studies have had applications not only in medical, military and sports simulations, but also in CGI. (The name is probably derived from “panta rhei,” a phrase often attributed to Heraclitus to mean something like “everything flows.”)
