The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Sauron first look appears to be part of a series of massive character close-up posters revealed to the highly-anticipated Amazon Prime show, which may well have shown a young Gandalf.

The official Twitter feed for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power posted more than 20 character posters for the various people on the show, clearly showing a mix of humans, elves, and elves. , dwarves and maybe even hobbits. The only other identifiable character that shows someone covered in gold, including their fingers – this is most likely Ar-Pharazon the Goldenthe last king of NĂşmenor and ancestor of Aragorn, the only ruler to defeat Sauron in battle without aid, but who was transformed by the Dark Lord.
