The London Knights return to action with a win last season – London

The London Knights opened the preseason with a 3-1 win over the Sarnia Sting at the Budweiser Gardens on Friday night.

Landon Sim, Bryce Montgomery and Easton Cowan scored for London and Knights goalkeeper Brett Brochu

Bryce Montgomery’s wrist shot from the top of the right circle defeated Sarnia goalkeeper Nicholas Surzycia at 12:38 of the third period and was the winning goal.

Landon Sim opened the scoring just over eight minutes into the second half with a play from recently signed Sam Dickinson. Dickinson sled in the puck from the left point and saw Sim go into the net. Denver Barkey also recorded an assist for the game.

The Knights’ Easton Cowan completed the goal with an empty net, which he scored after being dragged down by a defender trying to get to the net.
