The LEGO Doctor Strange 2 set could reveal the true identity of a major villain

Doctor Strange 2’s villain, rumored to be Shuma-Gorath, may have been revealed via a new LEGO set titled ‘Gargantos Showdown.’
When Spider-Man: There’s no way home has yet to hit theaters, there’s been a lot of talk about what fans can expect in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Now, a new LEGO set for the sequel reveals the villain (or one of them): Gargantos.
In addition to understanding Doctor Strange 2 The villain our beloved heroes will have to contend with, other details hint at a film much darker than its predecessor, resembling a horror movie at times. The cast of the sequel also added Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch and saw the return of Baron Mordo of Chiwetel Ejiofor and Christine Palmer of Rachel McAdams. Sam Raimi will return to the superhero genre after replacing Scott Derrickson as director due to Derrickson’s departure due to creative differences.
LEGO 264-piece set includes minifigures Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Wong (Benedict Wong) and newcomer America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) battle Gargantos in the movie titled “Gargantos Showdown”. Spider-Man 2 Spider-Man and Doc Ock are also fighting next to a skyscraper in New York. Recently, the production of Doctor Strange 2 has hinted that the villain Shuma-Gorath will be the main antagonist of the film. However, confirming Gargantos’ potential does not necessarily rule out Shuma-Gorath.
Gargantos is a large sea creature that looks like an octopus that appeared in the magazine Sub-Mariner in 1969. Some fans began to speculate that Gargantos can evolve to become Shuma-Gorath, a large interdimensional monster. Although unconfirmed, the Marvel Studios cartoon What if…? The series introduces another large octopus-like creature battling Captain Carter that many fans believe is Shuma-Gorath, but fans will just have to wait and see if those rumors turn out to be true. the truth in May or not.
While it is being rebooted significantly, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness finally hits theaters about 6 years after the first movie, and it’s shaping up to be one of the MCU’s most incredible films to date. As the title suggests, the film will explore more of the burgeoning multiverse that was set this year in many of Disney Plus’ films, and will discover in Spider-Man: There’s no way home.
Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is also rumored to appear, as the end of his series leaves many unanswered questions that could point to an answer for Doctor Strange. Loki lead writer Michael Waldron (Rick and Morty), was hired to rewrite the script alongside newcomer Jade Bartlett.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness slated for release on May 6, 2022.
