The LCK is reportedly reviewing the live audience for the 2022 Spring Split

League of Legends Fans can be welcomed back to Seoul, Korea’s LoL Park for the upcoming LCK Spring Split, according to Lee Jeong-hun, the league’s general secretary.
Spectators have been banned from entering the LCK venue since the Covid-19 pandemic began in the early stages of 2020.
Since then, some fans have been allowed to return to last year’s Summer League venues, but only in small numbers. A total of 40 fans are allowed into each match due to government regulations allowing only 10% of the venue’s full capacity.
For now, it remains to be seen how many fans are allowed to attend this year’s LCK Spring Split matches. But Korizon’s Ashley Kang, who first reported the news, commented that there is a “high probability” the tournament will open to the public for the first time in several months.
However, considering the Covid-19 capacity in Korea, the venue may be limited to a smaller audience. The country recorded 4,443 new cases on Wednesday, January 5, according to JHU data.
LCK 2022 Spring Spring will begin next Wednesday, January 12. On the opening day of the tournament, DRX will play against Liiv SANDBOX and then, T1 will face off against Kwangdong Freecs.
