Ellie X Apocalypse Now

3D Artist Fuego created something really special by combining Ellie and a scene from the movie Doomsday right now where Captain Willard, played by Charlie Sheen, dives out of the water to kill Colonel Kurtz. The iconic image of Captain Willard underwater became the poster template for the 1979 American epic psychological warfare film starring Marlon Brando, Robert Duvall and Frederic Forrest.

What makes this digital art all the more powerful is the similarity between Doomsday right now and The Last of Us Part 2 as both are a metaphor for self-discovery in the face of great struggles and how those who have fallen into emotional trauma are more fulfilled when reality is slowly falling apart.
