The Last of Us 2 fans discover unique hidden game feature

It may have been over a year since its release Our Last: Part II for PlayStation 4, but players are still discovering hidden features and interesting things to this day.

Our Last: Part II is one of those very rare instances where a sequel lives up to the hype of the original game. Naughty Dog created something very special with 2013 Our Last One, but fans suspect that the sequel could tarnish the original game if the story isn’t executed properly.

Thankfully, Naughty Dog delivered and Our Last: Part II was a success with both critics and fans. Many praised the sequel for its narrative features, characters, sound, and gameplay. In fact, fans are still discovering minor gameplay features to this day, expanding on the character base and bringing to the world of Our Last One to more life.

Reddit users find new little detail in Our Last: Part II

Reddit user KiwiOutrageous7295 taken to Our Last One subreddit to see if anyone else has spotted this interesting detail in one of the early missions as Abby.

During the mission ‘The Aquarium’, the player controls Abby in a flashback with Owen, where the two explore a derelict aquarium in search of objects and clues.

KiwiOutrageous noticed that during the quest, players could slide down the railing inside the aquarium as they made their way there. It’s not exactly a feature that will completely change the way you play, but it’s another little detail that helps you immerse yourself in the world of the game. Our Last One even more.

Some people may have discovered the hidden detail, but many expressed how the small details come in Our Last: Part II never fail to impress them. Others have also pointed out that when you return to the same position as Abby’s old version, she will no longer be able to slide down the railing once she has “grown up”.

Other fans expressed that details like this make the characters feel like real people and not just avatars from a video game.
