The Kingpin Die in Hawkeye Episode 6?

Part 1 of Hawk Eye concludes after giving us six great episodes. The second half of the show is full of surprises, the main thing is Kingpin’s introduced in the MCU.

After the appearance of Vincent D’Onofrio at the end of episode 5, Marvel fans want to see more of him in the final episode. Well, it can be said that the finale did not disappoint.

The last episode of Hawk Eye there’s the much-awaited confrontation between Echo and Kingpin. After learning that it was Wilson Fisk who wanted her father dead, Echo turned against the giant. Of course, Kingpin was smart enough to save himself, so he ordered Kazi to fix things. As expected, Kazi lost her life fighting against Echo, and in the meantime, Kate Bishop single-handedly defeated the Kingpin. However, Big Guy managed to escape the police and enter an alley where he met Echo.

Echo points a gun at the Kingpin’s head to avenge her father’s death, and Fisk tries to stop her by saying that they are a family. At this point, the scene is cut out, but we hear a gunshot, implying that Echo shot the Kingpin.

Did the Kingpin die in Hawkeye?

Of course, after hearing the gunfire, fans thought that Echo killed Wilson Fisk. However, since we don’t see the Kingpin lying dead on the ground, it’s safe to say Big Guy is still alive.

In the episode, we see Kate shoot an arrow into Fisk’s chest, which doesn’t even cause a scratch on him. So it’s very possible that Kingpin was wearing a bulletproof vest and he survived the shot if, of course, Echo shot him in the chest.

Even in the comics, there is a similar scene where Echo shoots Fisk after learning the truth about her father’s death. But Kingpin survived the shot and was only blinded by brain damage. So the MCU could follow up a similar story for Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin in the MCU.

The ultimate explanation would be that someone interrupted the Kingpin and Echo’s confrontation at the last moment (Daredevil perhaps?).

Anyway, it doesn’t matter which way the MCU goes for Kingpin, but they certainly won’t kill Fisk after creating so much hype around the character.
