Lily James has become a household name as she stars in the live-action remake of Kenneth Branagh. Cinderella, the film received warm reviews from critics and enthusiastic feedback from fans en route to an impressive $542 million box office.
The actress spent the next six years building an eclectic body of work that included Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Child driver, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Netflix’s Rebecca remakes and more, but the shadow of being a Disney princess still looms over her career.
With that in mind, it’s no surprise that the internet fell out of trust after the first trailer for the Hulu miniseries Pam & Tommy abandoned, revealed the 32-year-old British star is Baywatch pinup and 1990s icon Pamela Anderson.
James and co-star Sebastian Stan went to great lengths to make their performance as convincing as possible, with both obviously have to spend a lot of time in the makeup chair before stepping onto the set as Anderson and her husband Tommy Lee. Pam & Tommy is gearing up to watch when it premieres on Hulu on February 2nd next year, even if some audiences won’t be able to get past Cinderella’s bad break.
