The Golden Tomato Awards have some surprising winners

Winners of 23rd yellow tomato The award has been announced. These awards, run by the movie review website Rotten Tomatoes, which honors the best-rated movies and TV shows of the past year. These awards are ranked based on their reviews on the popular review aggregator, which means they reflect the views of many critics from around the world.

With 2021 being the second year of the COVID-19 pandemic, film and TV releases have been messy, with many films trying out new release models or postponing premieres. However, despite this, the awards yielded desirable and unexpected results.

Most notably, it was a Marvel banner year with Spider-Man: There’s no way home get Best Movie and Best Comic Movie. Disney series + WandaVision sweeping TV categories, including Best Television, Best Limited Series, and Best Superhero Series.
