The Ghostbusters Ultimate Collection includes alternate cuts of the original
Ghostbusters Ultimate Collection offers all four films in the franchise, but it’s the specials in the original that are remarkable.
The new one Ghostbusters The Blu-ray collection will bring in a little more than the three movies in the trilogy. It turns out that the Ultimate Collection offers a bit of nostalgia for Ghostbusters fans, including a new cut of the original film that may now be unwatched outside of a select few films.
Revealed earlier this month, Ghostbusters The Ultimate Collection is coming to Blu-ray 4K Ultra HD and will include original Ghostbusters movie, Ghostbusters 2, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The collection won’t have another disc for Paul Feig’s 2016 reboot, but there will also be a way to download it. That comes after earlier rumors that the reboot would be skipped altogether. In addition to the four movies, the $149.99 price tag will also get buyers some rare footage and features, including a new cut of the original film.
The final collection will include one of the rare scenes with a 114-minute preview cut the original Ghostbusters. This special cut will feature alternate scenes as well as alternate scenes and some special effects very soon. This special shot will also include the ability to listen to commentary from the producer to explain what viewers are looking at and how it has changed from this first installment to the one that people have seen in theaters. .
Turns out there will be other alternate versions of the original series, including the one that went viral with the “tv safe” replacement. There are also some behind-the-scenes dailies showing some Ghostbusters actors are trying out their different roles. Some newspapers may even display why Ghostbusters: Afterlife It’s a dedication with the original film and an original Ghostbusters that could not be in the third film.
Much of the focus of the Ultimate Collection is clearly on the first film of the bunch, but there will also be special features for Ghostbusters 2 and Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
However, those special features don’t go to the depth like the many different clips and shots that would be included to represent the original movie. As someone who spawned a four-movie series, that really makes sense. The Ghostbusters The Ultimate Collection is almost ready to hit store shelves but is available now on sites like Amazon.
The Ghostbusters Ultimate Collection will be released on February 1, 2022.
