‘The Flight Attendant’ season 2 trailer introduces the Kaley Cuoco Multiverse

The seat belt sign is on, so buckle up for another noisy season of Flight attendant. The HBO mystery comedy Max just dropped a full trailer for Season 2, and once again, Cassie (Kaley Cuoco) is trying to tame her flying ways. With a gig at the CIA, a new boyfriend, and her alcoholism under control, Cassie’s life will finally have some normalcy.
Psych! Cassie Bowden’s life has been anything but ordinary, and Season 2 is poised to join in all the twists, turns, chaos, and murder that made the first season so great. The flight attendant hasn’t landed yet: Cassie is still up in the clouds, bun high on top of her head and wearing a sharp blue uniform. Used to be a flight attendant, used to be a flight attendant.
As she juggles two jobs, moves in with her daughter-in-law, and resumes drinking, Cassie seems to be spiraling out of control once again. But it’s really not her fault—someone is pretending to be Cassie (or rather, framing her, as Zosia Mamet’s Ani suggests), and the concept is making her nervous.
“I’ve worked so hard to build this new life and I’m holding on to it with all I have,” Cassie says in the trailer, just before a big bang and confrontation with the doppelgänger hers. If an Emmy-nominated performance from Kaley Cuoco wasn’t enough, Season 2 is upping its game: in the trailer, there’s two of actresses. Or three. Or four. Suffice it to say, there are plenty of Kaley Cuocos.
Maybe Cassie’s mom can explain all of these twins. Sharon Stone has joined the cast of Season 2 as Cassie’s mother, first appearing in the trailer. Other newcomers include Mo McRae, Callie Hernandez and JJ Soria, who will join the returning cast of Kaley Cuoco, Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz and Rosie Perez.
Steve Yockey developed the series, serving as executive producer alongside co-presenter and executive producer Natalie Chaidez. Cuoco herself also serves as an EP on the project, which earned the star her first two Emmy nominations (one for acting and one for production) last year.
Flight attendant Season 2 will end April 21, launching two new episodes with a new episode every Thursday on HBO Max after that.
