‘The Flash’ actor Ezra Miller was arrested again in Hawaii, this time after being charged with second-degree assault in Pahoa

PAHOA, Hawaii – Ezra Miller was arrested on suspicion of assault Tuesday, the second time the actor known for his role as Flash in the “Justice League” movie has been arrested in Hawaii in recent weeks.

Miller became angry after being asked to leave a gathering at a home on the Big Island and threw a chair and hit a woman on the forehead, a statement from the Hawaii Police Department said.

Police said the woman refused treatment because of a half-inch cut on her forehead.

Miller, described by police as a 29-year-old tourist from Vermont, was arrested during a stopover and released pending further investigation.

It’s not clear how Miller’s arrest affects a settlement scheduled late Tuesday for the actor’s arrest last month at a Big Island karaoke bar. Miller was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct after police said the actor snatched the mic from a singing woman and lunged at a man playing darts.

Miller was aggravated performing the ballad “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, Hawaii Police Assistant Kenneth Quiocho said.

Miller is also scheduled for Tuesday in a separate traffic case. Police were called to a dispute in downtown Hilo last month, where Miller was uncooperative, refused to leave the area and obstructed a sidewalk, Quiocho said.

Miller’s attorney in Hawaii did not immediately return a message seeking comment on the latest arrest. Another attorney and Miller’s representative also did not immediately respond to messages requesting comment.

Big Island’s attorney, Francis Alcain, asked for Tuesday’s trial, previously scheduled for next week, to be moved. Alcain said in a court filing his client “has many time-sensitive work obligations in California and/or New York,” and needs an earlier hearing “to resolve this matter. “

The day after Miller was released on $500 bail for his karaoke bar arrest, a Big Island couple filed a request for a temporary restraining order, claiming the actor had barged into their bedroom and threatened him. threaten them. A judge dismissed the case last week after the couple’s attorney asked for it.

William Dean, the couple’s attorney, declined to say why his client did not want to pursue a restraining order against Miller anymore.

Miller also had a major role in the third installment of the Harry Potter spin-off “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.”
