The Elder Scrolls Online Teaser Trailer Takes Players Across the Sea

Yesterday, Scrolls online teasingly announces upcoming year-long story with a simple yet effective video of a stormy sea. Well, today we know a little more about what lies beyond those waters thanks to the full trailer that rolled out this morning.

Teaser, which is less than a minute and a half long, shares quite a bit of information with just its pictures, though still leaves a lot of questions. While we had a feeling we’d be off the coast of Tamriel proper, what happens to stormy seas and were asked to look at the horizon in yesterday’s tease, today we had a interesting moment Elder Scrolls: Black Flag.

Two three-masted ships and a longship are seen sailing to an unnamed land, each bearing the color of one of the three alliances at the heart of the original plot. ESO. In the distance, a cove opens onto a cliffside high fantasy city, complete with an iconic waterfall. While we don’t know exactly where this is yet, some suggestions have been made simply by the Breton-style armored figure standing, watching the ships get closer.

In his Studio Director’s letter at the end of 2021, Matt Firor stated that Elder Scrolls The MMO will return to the series’ roots, stating that this year’s plot will be a “political conspiracy and factional infighting.” The main story removed various aspects of the ESO On the other hand, especially since the One Tamriel update a few years ago, so it will be interesting to see how ZeniMax brings this into the story this year.

Although we don’t know much, especially since it’s related to precision where the heroes are sailing (and whether we’ll be sailing there versus a simple quick cruise), the MMORPG will hold its annual announcement later this month on January 27th. The announcement will be on Twitch at 3 p.m. ET, and we can assume we’ll learn more about what makes this particular year-long story so popular.
