There are hundreds of side quests available in Skyrim That rewards the player for stepping off the beaten path. One of them, the quest ‘Promises to Keep’, can be started in Riosystem, and is about all things, about a horse. The Promise to Keep quest is simpler than most, but it pays well and can be difficult if the player doesn’t know what to expect. You can start the quest by talking to Louis Letrush right inside the Bee and the Barb bar in Riosystem. Louis will force the player to speak to a Black-Briar inmate in the Rivalry Prison, who will reveal the location of papers confirming the noble birth of a horse named Frost. This is where the Persuasion privilege comes in handy. Prison guards can be persuaded or paid, and that money doesn’t come cheap. After talking to the prisoner, the player will be forced to go to a motel east of Ri Then to steal both the papers and the horse. One of the best ways to enter the building is to take advantage of the Skyrim‘s stealth ability.
Having a manager was very helpful for this part of the mission. When stealing papers and Frost, there will be a lot of mercenaries both inside and outside the building. Even if the player sneaks in through the back of the structure, there will still be plenty of opponents. A companion will fuel the fire and make the task much easier. After the player has stolen the papers and the horse, they simply return to Louis to complete the quest and receive a reward of 750 coins. Although not as packed as the end of Skyrimmain quest line of, the reward is nothing to scoff at.
All things considered, the Promise to Keep quest is a quick, fun activity for the player, and definitely worth its weight in gold.
