NS Tampa Bay Buccaneers Yes officially booked hidden corner Richard Sherman on injury reserves. Sherman will now be out of action for at least three weeks after sustaining a calf injury during her pregnancy prior to the loss to Washington in Week 10. An MRI scan determined that Sherman had a Grade 2 calf strain, based on NFL Ian Rapoport’s Network. The veteran full-back is back in action following a hamstring injury he picked up in Week 6.
A five-time bowler, Sherman is in the midst of his first season with the Buccaneers. In three games, Sherman scored 11 tackles and one recovery. The 33-year-old is just two years out of his most recent Pro Bowl season which has also seen him help 49ers advance Super Bowl.
