Last weeks Books by Boba Fett leaving fans reeling when the show suddenly turned into Mandalorian. After four episodes of Fett roaming Mos Espa without much fruit, things are finally starting to pick up with the reappearance of Din Djarin and plenty of teases for future storylines.

Spoilers for Books by Boba Fett episode 6 follow

This week’s episode continues that winning streak, elevating things even further by focused heavily on coaching Luke Skywalker Grogua surprise came from Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, ‘s first live-action Clone Wars‘villain Cad Baneand a bunch of fun The Empire Strikes Back Easter Display.

As you might have guessed, it’s an absolute social media pandemic right now:

There were also some naysayers who complained that Boba Fett had almost completely stayed out of her own show, which is fair to say. Fett was completely absent from episode 5 and only made a very brief appearance this week. But, let’s face it, the first four episodes aren’t amazing, with only the train robbery scene in episode 2 being close to the standards of Mandalorian.

So I’m pretty happy with this change of gears as it means the show has suddenly become much more entertaining, and dropped some big hints as to where Mandalorian and Ahsoka Tano will air later this year.

Plus, after this, maybe don’t expect too much of a Luke Skywalker spinoff, as they seem to have actually digitally recreated a young Mark Hamill.

Here is hope Books by Boba Fett finish when the finale airs on February 9.
