Even with the pandemic unfolding, Nintendo is going strong with Nintendo Switch support by providing loads of entertaining titles throughout 2021. This year might not be as good as 2017’s Nintendo with Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey, but it certainly comes close.

Most racing games these days are made to have a realistic feel and often feature advanced graphic effects and dramatic visuals, such as Forza Horizon 5, and then there are games like Cruise’n Blast, throw all that out the window. Collecting all of Samus’s abilities, beating EMMI, and exploring the vast map is an exhilarating experience, and controlling Samus feels absolutely perfect. Monster Hunter Rise
After that hit was Monster Hunter: World, fans have been patiently waiting to see what game Capcom will come up with next, and that game is Monster Hunter Rise. Built from the ground up for the Nintendo Switch, Monster Hunter Rise maximize the Switch’s graphics capabilities without sacrificing anything. The game runs like butter (even in handheld), works magically online, loads quickly, and the inclusion of new Wirebug mechanics really changes the game for the better.
With the addition of all the post-launch DLC content Capcom has added to the game, there’s no shortage of quests for players to tackle, be it solo or with a group of friends. Defeating monsters, upgrading weapons and completing quests never gets old. And Monster Hunter Rise will only continue to prosper when it launches on PC next time and its Sunbreak expansion launches.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin took the series’ iconic world and monsters and turned it into a single-player turn-based RPG, very different from the main series. Instead of teaming up with other players to go on quests, the player will instead take on the role of the protagonist and befriend monsters (called Monsters) and send them into a Pokemon-like battle.
