The best Harley Quinn perks

Harley Quinn is arguably one of the most played characters in the absurdly popular game. MultiVersus. She’s one of this platformer’s assassin-like characters, and has some incredibly satisfying moves that lead to lots of easy-to-follow combos. And at first, a lot of people thought she was overwhelmed. But compared to some characters who need nerfs, it’s obvious she doesn’t.

Still, many main Harley riders find themselves up against a wall in terms of their MMR when they start going up against increasingly better opponents, especially in 1v1 mode. So, here are some of the Best Perks for Harley Quinn in MultiVersus that might just be enough to fill that gap.

Harley Quinn’s best perks in MultiVersus

First, let’s say she set up her perk setup right away, and go from there. The best perk loadout for Harley Quinn is:

  • Signature: glove control
  • Defense: Slippery customer
  • Offense: Hit ‘Em while they’re down
  • Offense: Up, up and A-Slay

This guide will now explain why each of the perks is best done individually, but let’s talk about them Signature Perk, Glove Control, and her only defensive bonus, Slippery customerFirst.

Glove control and slippery customer arguments

Harley is one of the few characters that actually has three different ones Signature Benefits select from level 15+, and that are glove control, smooth movements, and Confetti Explosion. But why is Glove Control the best of the three? Spring, Smooth movements is useful in that it adds some invincibility frames to Harleys joke shots, making it easier for her to dodge, which is important for an assassin. But top players don’t use them joke shots all of that often, and the difference it makes isn’t groundbreaking.

Next, confetti Explosion, While it reads as something incredibly powerful, it’s actually the opposite. The explosion created by Max Confetti Stacks with Confetti Explosion actually replaces the Ignite effect this passive ability has by default, which Harley players typically rely on to deal tons of passive damage to their opponents throughout the game.

So only remains glove controlallowing her to aim at them boxing wrestler more specifically, resulting in better coverage and easier spikes. It’s simple, but making a small change to this step actually completely changes how Harley handles some adverse circumstances.

For her first “small” perk, it’s a defense perk, and not many would probably expect Harley Quinn to run, Slippery customer. But a lot of people tend to forget that Harley is an assassin, meaning she deals 14 percent more damage overall but also takes 14 percent more from enemies.

Additionally, Ms. Quinzel is one of the lighter characters in the game, meaning she can be knocked into the Blast Zone in the high 40s or 50s depending on the situation. So when she’s running Slippery Customer, she can dodge attacks a little more easily and play Harley aggressively while still being able to avoid taking unnecessary damage.

Hit ‘Em while they’re down

Harley’s passive ability, AKA confetti timeessentially gives it a constant This is Flammable Doc Perk without occupying any of the three (technically four) perk slots. More specifically, many of Harley’s moves apply this “confetti” debuff, and when hit by it, they turn to ignited.

And many of the best Harley players tend to keep their opponent on fire, or at least wary of them Confetti Stack most of the game. So it makes sense to run a perk that benefits from this constant debuff condition, especially when Harley is on teams with another debuff-centric character like Batman, Velma, and so on.

Up, up and A-Slay

Anyone who has played Ms. Quinn even a few times is aware of how “vertical” her moveset is, as she is described in-game as a Vertical Assassin. To name just a few of the attacks/specials that players launch vertically, there are:

  • jerk-in-the-box
  • dough up!
  • The explosion from triggering stuffed bat
  • Confetti Grenade
  • Heads up!
  • And the last hit of clown combo

It’s safe to say that a lot of their gear focuses on throwing players up vertically and/or KOing them from the top blast zone. So this perk is an obvious inclusion, as all of these attacks do more damage overall, resulting in earlier kills and better punishments.

all that was said MultiVersus Matchups have a lot of variety. There are some players who swear by not running offensive-type perks, some players who always customize their entire perk to suit the opposing team’s characters, and some who don’t change anything at all. So let’s go through some of the other perks Harley typically uses in case they’re trying to counter or match the person on the other side of the arena:

  • Utility: Aerialist – The increased air acceleration is useful for getting close to other aggressive characters like Finn or Arya.
  • Utility: Triple Jump – Always run decently, especially when an ally is stacking it.
  • Utility: You Dodge I Dodge We Dodge – A great choice for Harley players who rely a lot on their jerk-in-the-boxes or stuffie bats.
  • Utility: Tasmanian Trigonometry – Perfect choice when facing heavy players like Iron Giant or Shaggy.
  • Defense: School Me Once – Usually used against characters with heavy projectiles like Tom and Jerry or Reindog.
  • Offense: Lumpy Space Punch – For a more aggressive playstyle centered around Harley’s Aerial Pummeler
  • Offense: Ice To Beat You – Situational, but great for players who use their Stuffie Bats well.
  • Offense: Thats Flameable Doc – Actually works well when stacked with her confetti as it results in more Ignite triggers overall.
