‘The Batman’ cool motion poster shows a brooding Dark Knight
Batman will ring in the stylish 2022 blockbuster season. The hotly anticipated film is the first solo Batman movie in a decade, with Matt Reeves building a whole new Gotham City, accessing a swindler’s gallery and introducing a Knight Tortured and brutal darkness played by Robert Pattinson.
The marketing campaign is now in full swing around the world, with billboards for the film appearing in most major cities, international TV spots broadcasting and stores overflowing with merchandise. Interesting Batman. Each territory has its own exclusive ads, although certainly one of the most interesting is this moving poster from Vietnam’s CGV Cinemas:
The motion poster shows Pattinson’s Batman brooding in the rain with the words “when light hits the sky, it’s not just a call, it’s a warning”. Batman posing in a downpour is the classic way to describe a hero, so anyone putting this together certainly knows how to best represent him.
Obviously, you can’t judge a movie by its advertisement, but between this and the trailer we can assume that at least Batman will be a visual feast.
Batman It’s been a very long time, but we’ll soon see if it’s worth the wait. In a few weeks, the review embargo will be lifted and we’ll be surprised to know what critics think. But in the meantime, images like these actually bode well.
