Fans are eagerly awaiting the latest horror from the lustful mind of Jordan Peele titled Are not.
This morning, a teaser video was posted on Twitter by Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions account, providing a glimpse into the latest horror spectacle. In the 30-second clip, some memorable scenes from Peele’s previous blockbusters are played back in succession, followed by the title “Discover what’s next… from the mind of Jordan Peele.” The short video then offers exclusive footage of the film’s main cast, which includes Get out star Daniel Kaluuya, Steven Yeun and Keke Palmer. The full trailer will be released during the Super Bowl this Sunday, February 13.
Details about the upcoming project remain largely unknown, although tidbits in the trailer reveal an otherworldly presence hovering over a small town. Additionally, the actual poster for the film features a large cloud in the sky, with many fans believing the film’s plot will focus on extraterrestrials. Like Peele’s thought-provoking predecessors, his latest project looks set to follow a similar path.
When it comes to the excellence of modern horror cinema, Jordan Peele easily captivates audiences with his grisly elements of racial unrest and bizarre exploitation, making him one of the filmmakers. Movies work best today. Are not will serve as Peele’s sequel to the movies Get out and We, which grossed $255 million at the worldwide box office. The film previously even won Peele the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay at the 2018 Academy Awards.
Are not slated to hit theaters on July 22.
