Tens of thousands of people without electricity in the UK after the storm
Frost has caused power cuts around the border between Scotland and England, with Northern Powergrid saying it has recorded 1,100 damage in need of significant repair. It said it was working to restore service to 40,000 customers, while SP Energy Networks said 21,000 customers remained without power on Sunday.
