Teens rescued after roller coaster stalls

A bunch of youngsters received a distinct form of thrill experience once they needed to be plucked from a stalled curler coaster at a New Mexico amusement park Saturday evening.

The eight teenagers had been caught atop “El Bandido” for 2 hours on the Western Playland Amusement Park when two vehicles on the speedy coaster floor to a halt, the El Paso Times said.

Firefighters from the West Valley Hearth Division had been dispatched to the scene round 8:30 p.m. and finally managed to make use of a ladder truck to rescue the stranded teenagers.

“I knew everybody that was up there so we stored one another firm,” Angel Cuevas, one of many youngsters, told WGFL-TV.
