JENNINGS, La. (KLFY) — A 17-year-old boy was discovered useless on the entrance garden of a house in Jennings in a single day.
In line with Jennings Police Chief Danny Semmes, 31-year-old Steven Lazard noticed the teenager on the property from the doorbell digital camera.
Semmes mentioned when Lazard approached the teenager within the yard, a combat ensued and pictures have been fired.
The 17-year-old was fatally injured, Semmes mentioned.
Semmes mentioned Lazard’s statements are in step with the preliminary investigation and data obtained from the doorbell digital camera.
He mentioned Saturday’s capturing could also be related to a deputy concerned capturing Sunday in Crowley the place one individual died.
Lazard was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of stolen firearms after the weapon used within the capturing was a stolen AR-15, Semmes mentioned.
