Tearful Elon Musk officially dumps Dems to ‘vote Republican’

Elon Musk officially declared on Wednesday what has been publicly visible for months and announced on Twitter that he would ally himself with Republican politicians in the future.

“In the past I voted Democrats because they were (mostly) the friendliness party. But they have become the party of division and hate so I can no longer support them,” he wrote. “Now watch their dirty tricks unfold against me,” he added with a popcorn emoji.

The announcement came after Musk earlier in the day campaigned against “false social justice campaigners” and the “leftist agenda” after it was announced that Tesla would be delisted from a stock index that includes companies dedicated to the environment and social issues such as Dedicated to diversity and inclusion as well as corporate governance.
