Musicians are the support and backbone of any team, whether it’s PvE (Player vs Enemy) or PvP (Player vs Player) content. The heals, shields, and buffs they provide are priceless and something only this class is capable of. They are also required for the toughest forms of content, making it easier to find parties to group with compared to most classes.
If healing and saving lives is fun, then Musician is the perfect class choice. Healing may look simple from the outside, but it’s a lot more complicated and complex than players expect. let’s discuss how to build and use the musician’s skills to their full potential.

praise melody is a powerful single target healing ability with a short cooldown. Heals usually need to be used carefully, but this is an exception. This ability is great for keeping allies healthy and is primarily used on the Knight as they are usually the ones who take the most damage in a group.
aria is probably the best ability the musician has, as not only does it heal, but it can heal everyone in the party at the same time. That’s not all though, this skill purifies all allies, which rids them of all debuffs. This ability is perfect against bosses that constantly debuff the party, especially guild bosses.
concert is a great AoE (Area of Effect) HoT (Heal Over Time) skill. The cooldown is a bit longer, but since it heals over time, the cooldown is technically relatively short. This ability is great for using right at the start of a boss fight or before powerful boss AoE abilities. It makes it so that musician players don’t have to panic when deciding who to heal since allies stay relatively healthy from the HoT.
Healing Melody is the strongest heal the musician has and also does quite a bit of damage. However, the cooldown is extremely long and must be used with caution. This skill should only be used as a last resort or during a boss ability window where players know they will have enough time to get this skill off cooldown. This ability can save an entire party from the brink of death by massively healing everyone, so it only needs to be used when necessary.
invigorate is an extremely awesome ability that can bring allies back from the dead. This skill should also be used with care as it has a cooldown of almost 2 minutes. It would be best to only use this skill on the knight, as a party will most likely erase instantly if the tank is dead for a long period of time. However, if the tank looks like it’s not going to die at all in this fight, it can be used against the best DPS (damage per second) member in the group. Knowing who to use this skill on can make or break a dungeon or raid.
First aid is a passive kill that increases the musician’s healing on low-health allies. A class dedicated to healing and supporting their allies will want the highest healing potential they can get, and that’s what helps them achieve this passive. It has great synergy with all Musician skills in this build, making it a perfect choice as well.

deep sea wind is one of the best damage abilities the musician has, and heals quite a bit too. It’s also the only healing ability they can use while moving at the same time. Learning how to aim with this ability is crucial as it is a channeled ability that cannot be disabled once launched and players cannot rotate to change the ability’s trajectory while using it , they can only move left or right. Players should do their best to line up with as many allies or enemies as possible before using this skill to get the most out of it.
aria is a powerful AoE heal that cleans debuffs from all allies. This skill works wonders against Assassins, Knights, and Wizards, as they rely heavily on CC (Crowd Control) skills to succeed in PvP.
Healing Melody is the most powerful healing ability musicians have and should focus more on saving it for themselves if they can. In PvP, most players focus on killing musicians since they have low defense and are so influential in helping their team win battles. Using this ability when an Assassin is slamming down a musician can be game-changing and buy the player’s teammates time to save them.
Strengthening melody provides a shield to whoever it is cast on, and in most cases should be kept for the musician as well. As much as players want to heal and protect their allies when the musician is dead, they cannot heal anyone. Knowing how to balance each member’s life priorities is what makes the difference between an average musician and a great one.
Muse assistance is a passive kill that increases the damage musicians deal to enemies based on how many abilities were used and the order in which they were used. Some abilities produce soft and strong tones, depending on the combination of tones received by the musician during battle, they deal bonus damage.
First aid is a passive skill that increases the healing of allies with low HP (health points). This is a great comeback ability and can be used even further if players see an ally approaching the 30% HP threshold. Using the heal at 31% HP will heal them normally, but waiting for the extra second or two to drop it to 29% or less allows players to make the most of what appears to be a simple passive skill.
