Suspicious packages appear at office for 2 Nova Scotia Conservative MPs

A brown envelope containing disturbing images and obvious skin and eye irritants was sent to the Barrington, NS constituency office of a member of Congress from the Nova Scotia Conservative Party.
Rick Perkins, member of South Shore_St. Margarets, announced today that an identical envelope turned up at his second precinct office in Barrington, NS, but staff did not open it.

And Isabelle Lapointe, Conservative member of staff for West Nova Chris d’Entremont, said today a third envelope had arrived at his constituency office in Yarmouth, NS.
Perkins said an employee of his Barrington office opened the thick envelope to find pages with strange and “disturbing” images.
He said the man’s hands and eyes immediately began to burn and he called 911 to alert the police and then to neighboring constituency offices.
Both Perkins and Lapointe said police were investigating and that no one was seriously injured.
The RCMP confirmed that officers responded to offices in Barrington Passage and Yarmouth. The RCMP tweeted shortly after noon warning the public to avoid the area around the municipal building in Barrington.
The RCMP told Global News on Monday night that the investigation is in the early stages and no further information is available.
