Supreme Court decision on abortion law in Texas ‘very wrong,’ says Justice Breyer

Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr joined three court libertarians, including Breyer, who argued against keeping the law unenforceable as it unfolded in court. The law allows private citizens to sue anyone who helps a woman end a pregnancy – offering a $10,000 award to the defendant to pay for any successful lawsuits aimed at preventing abortions.
