Sunbreak release date revealed for Monster Hunter Rise

Capcom, through a nearly 20-minute digital event on Monster Hunter Riserevealed that the release date for the upcoming Sunbreak expansion will be June 30, 2022. This paid DLC is on schedule and pre-orders for it are available starting today.

Capcom Reveals Additional Details About Sunbreak Expansion

Ryozo Tsujimito, producer of the Monster Hunter series, is at the top digital events and describes Sunbreak as a “major expansion” for Nintendo Switch and PC. The introduction to the digital event asks players to “explore Elgado and its greatest threats”.

The Sunbreak Expansion, available as a separate digital download or bundled with Monster Hunter Rise, will also come with a Deluxe Edition that includes a range of cosmetic items.
