Steven Ginsberg named managing editor of The Washington Post, rounding out senior management team

As the country editor since 2017, Ginsberg has overseen The Post’s coverage of President Donald Trump and his administration, including Russia investigation, two articles of impeachment and Uprising of the Capitol, as well as the pandemic and protests following the murder of George Floyd in 2020. Postal reporters have won 5 Pulitzer Prizes under his supervision, for covering the Russia investigation, Secret Service service, Trump’s fraudulent philanthropic activities, climate change, and the charges against Alabama US Senate Candidate Roy Moore.
