Stephen King To Read An Exclusive Scene From Upcoming Novel ‘Billy Summers’ – CBS DC

Legendary author Stephen King is set to host a reading session from his highly anticipated new novel, Billy Summers, above July 27, 2021, at 7pm on YouTube. This worldwide event, featuring King narrating a previously unreleased selection, will give fans a preview of the book before it is published on August 3 by Scribner Books (a company of Scribner Books). Heralded as one of King’s most complex and intriguing characters, Billy Summers is an assassin with a strict code of ethics: He only takes on missions after he assures himself that the target is the bad guy. Now ready for retirement, the Iraq veteran and sniper decided to leave the business after one last job. That’s easier said than done, however, and unexpected complications leave Billy confronted with ghosts from his past.
