Stephanie Grisham begs ‘The View’ host to stop calling Republicans ‘idiots’

Former Trump spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham clashes with daytime talk show hosts To watch on Tuesday morning by calling their names, begging them not to call Republicans “idiots” because that would only make them “downgrade” and “double down.”
Grisham, who has spent months separating herself from the Trump administration and restoring her media image as a moderate Republican, has her back as Opinion conservative host guest on Tuesday.
During one of the show’s “Hot Topics” discussions, the panel referred to MAGA Promotion Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) calling GOP senators “advocating pedophilia ” if they support Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s Supreme Court nomination.
“May I apologize to Sarah Palin? This woman makes Sarah Palin look like Madame Curie,” quipped freelance host Joy Behar. “And not a word about her best friend Matt Gaetz, who’s been under investigation for a year for dating an underage girl.”
Grisham, for his part, said Greene’s attack was “offensive and didn’t hit the mark,” adding that the pro-Trump lawmaker was “attacking our own party” rather than focusing on GOP’s brand extension before mid-term.
“The Republican Party is about to take over the House and Senate,” she announced. “[President Joe] Biden’s polls are running high and her focus is on children, naming Republicans. It completely lacks the mark. ”
Co-host Sunny Hostin eventually hit back that while it’s true that Biden’s approval numbers are falling, Republicans may also be in trouble of their own due to Greene and others’ antics.
“That’s true, but the fact that Republicans can’t seem to get her in line? Everyone is saying that the Republican Party fits together and the Democratic Party does not,” asserts Hostin. “They need to get her in line. She’s a madman!”
After Hostin protested that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy claimed the GOP “had a big tent,” fellow host Sara Haines exclaimed that “no tent is big enough for Marjorie Taylor.” Greene.” Haines also took issue with the Georgia lawmaker and other conservatives “whistling” at QAnon conspirators with their pedophilia allegations.
After a while, Behar consulted One fervent Trump supporter recently described George Bush as a Nazi at the same time expressed support for Russian President Putin.
“Then you think, how stupid is this woman? Just remember one thing, she will vote,” lamented Behar. “People needing to vote is the problem. Otherwise, we would have sunk! ”
However, Grisham lectured the liberal comedian and the rest of the table about their harsh assessments of not only Greene and Trump supporters, but Republicans in general.
“The more we call people idiots, even when they say these stupid things, the more right they get – they close the ranks,” Trump’s ex declared. “And they double down. They will also go to the polls! Meanwhile, Hostin countered that “silence is complicity,” prompting Grisham to emphasize that she “did not say complicit” but instead asked them not to “denigrate” conservatives.
“You have to call someone when they are an idiot. It is taking our country down,” retorted Hostin, adding: “Marjorie Taylor Greene is an idiot! That is the definition. You open the dictionary, look up the idiot, and you see a picture of her. ”
Finally, Goldberg interjected, wondering if Grisham would agree that calling a former president a Nazi was “stupid.” The former White House press secretary responded that the woman’s comment “wasn’t a smart answer” but “we can’t continue to attack people because they double down and vote.” for extreme candidates.
“That’s an uneducated answer, I’ll leave it at that,” Grisham added.
“All those words mean the same thing,” Goldberg countered. “And they have to mean the same thing as you and they mean the same to me. The Bushes are not Nazis. It’s ridiculous! ”
Grisham, begging again, added that she just wanted “everyone to have a detour.”
However, her plea fell on deaf ears.
“They’re leaving their rocker stretch,” Behar joked at the end.
