Staud RTW Fall 2022 – WWD

“In a sense, autumn is about getting you back together. As we go back to normal life, city life, work – we shouldn’t give up the optimism, freedom and joy of summer as we move into fall,” Sarah Staudinger said of aunt Fall collect. This season, the main inspiration comes from accepting the easy transition of summer to a sleeker fall wardrobe, while also subtly incorporating the philosophical ideas behind Japanese kintsugi, expressed through “imperfect” cuts, an “almost monochromatic” look and youthful organic elements in accessories and garment details.
A look: Fall outfit with a youthful, chic perspective typical of Staudinger.
Quote notes: “After that, the idea of bringing ourselves together became another huge inspiration for the collection, which is the idea of Japanese kintsugi. Philosophically, it is the acceptance of change and transformation – removing the imperfection and making it more perfect.
Main parts: Sexy, body-hugging dresses (a mini black dress with contrasting bra detailing, or a patent aubergine mini skirt and cropped jacket over colored vegan leather pants) Red); knitting fisherman; well-dressed, revealing dress and clean romantic dresses in moire (pink columnar gown with stars); ton-sur-ton sets (from mini skirts and tank tops to velvet trousers); faux knubby outerwear; loads of tall boots, and neat, transitional sandals and slides; Architectural handbags (from mini to XL) with distinctive, kintsugi-inspired details.
Carried away: Layer new textured rich fall fabrications – vegan leather, moire, velvet, Italian patent imitation fabric – with brand signatures (jersey, tissue nylon, etc.) Modern and sexy proved the power of Staudinger’s fall collection.
