Star Wars Eclipse Reportedly Has Serious Development Problems

It seems that, despite being in the earliest stages of development, the Star Wars Eclipse is currently experiencing a lot of problems.
The return of Lucasfilm Games is one of the The biggest video game surprise of 2021, and how fast it works. Few Star Wars video game projects that have been announced or rumored since, with KOTOR remake and Quantic Dream’s Star Wars Eclipse both are of the old type. All fans have seen either, but more specifically the latter, which is a cinematic trailer.
This is not all that common, especially for games early in their development cycle; However, it may not be the best news for Star Wars Eclipse. It seems the game has suffered from serious development issues that could greatly affect it in the long run.

Clearly, Star Wars Eclipse originally started as an MMORPG codenamed Project Karma but was rejected by Sony because Detroit: Be Human. These MMORPG contents will eventually be reused and promoted as New Star Wars game.
Quantic Dream’s engine is said to be struggling with Star Wars Eclipse as it is only designed for limited levels and a limited number of NPCs, thus suggesting that the game’s initial scope may be beyond capabilities. After all, the studio is also struggling with multiplayer aspect of Star Wars Eclipse and, after 18 months of production/development, there is still no internal playable version of the game.
Part of this appears to be a struggle for resources. After Detroit: Be Human, the studio is said to be looking to sell itself as a way to acquire more resources and expand the size and scope of the studio, but Quantic Dream’s allegations of workplace harassment, racism, sexism and homophobia reportedly chased away all the buyers. Combined with this is the fact that Quantic Dream is also experiencing staffing problems due to the allegations.
Specifically, these allegations involve studio head David Cage, who allegedly made inappropriate jokes about female actors in the game Quantic Dream, as well as more. His alleged behavior was the main factor that led to the troubles and rumors of the above allegations, but it was also the reason why fans started Star Wars Eclipse Campaign, with many vowing not to support the game as long as David Cage is involved. What comes from these accusations, as well as the development breakdown of the game itself, remains to be seen.
