STALKER 2 release date has been delayed until fall 2022

According to a Ukrainian source, who leaked information about the development of EXPERT 2, the game’s release date was pushed back at least 6 months.

While many fans are eagerly waiting for Spring 2022 to get their hands on this survival RPG, it seems that we need to wait more than expected.

Oldboi, a Ukrainian Youtuber who has leaked some accurate information from the country’s development studios like GSC Game World, recently stated in his latest video that EXPERT 2 has been delayed until Fall 2022, and the developers will announce it during the game’s next rollout.

According to the report of Championat, a PS5 version of the game is also in development and will be available in late 2022 or early 2023. Oldboi stated that EXPERT 2 There will be special DualSense support for some game mechanics.

Originally, GSC Game World was supposed to release EXPERT 2 back in 2012, almost three years later Call of Pripyat. That said, the game has entered a bad stage of development and the studio has no choice but to abandon the project.

In 2018, GSC Game World announced that they were relaunching the project again, and while it was first based on Unreal Engine 4, the team has continued development to Unreal Engine 5 since then.

STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobyl is currently slated to launch on April 28 for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. The game is said to be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
