STALKER 2 Canceled NFT Plans After Controversial Tweet

The long-awaited sequel to STAFF is inching closer to its April 28, 2022 release date. It’s been over a decade since the original STAFF A trilogy of games have been released, and the sequel to the series is becoming more and more unsettling with each passing week. Motivation for STAFF seemed unstoppable, at least until developer GSC Game World sparked a huge controversy by announcing plans to auction NFT based on EXPERT 2. A decision emerges, GSC Game World is now reversed.

VIDEO GAME OF THE DAY

Just a few hours ago, GSC Game World posted an announcement on Twitter announcing that they will be canceling all of them there are plans to release NFT for EXPERT 2. The message is short and simple, starting with: “Dear followers, we hear you.” From there, GSC Game World explained that they were canceling “everything NFT related” for EXPERT 2 based on the feedback it has received in time since the announcement.

Further explaining, GSC Game World states that its top priority is the “interest” of STAFF fans and players. It’s growing EXPERT 2 for players to enjoy, “no matter what the cost.” It’s not clear exactly what GSC Game World means by “cost”. What GSC Game World said is that if players care about this then GSC game world, before signing up with a message that says “with love.”

What might change the perception of GSC Game World’s statement is that the situation is somewhat more complicated than imagined. GSC Game World doesn’t just listen to feedback and decide cancel its NFT plan. First, it tries to double down. Earlier today, GSC Game World released another statement. In that statement, GSC Game World reiterated its plan, with no sign of it going astray. Its exact words are, “We’re not asking for assistance, but at least we hope you can hear us and understand us,” although the statement doesn’t provide any further context about what it says. the necessity of selling NFTs. The post was deleted shortly after it was published.

It’s not clear what made GSC Game World feel the need to double down on its NFT plans only to then cancel those plans shortly after. It is true that the announcement led to a huge negative reaction between STAFF fans and more, and the reaction to the double post on the NFTs was even stronger. But that kind of response should be expected. It raises the question of whether another party is involved, such as EXPERT 2Xbox Game Pass’s Partner.

Where EXPERT 2 Going from here is anyone’s guess. For now, GSC Game World seems focused on getting its game done without involving NFT or blockchain as planned. That doesn’t necessarily stop GSC Game World release NFTs after launch or something similar. While the company may have reverted to its NFT plans, there is unfortunately a new level of mistrust between the company and its fans. STAFF Franchising.

EXPERT 2 released April 28, 2022 on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
