Spider-Man presents designs for Tom Holland’s Symbiote suit
While there’s no confirmation that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will use the symbiote, one MCU artist has an idea of what he might look like.
While fans are still basking in the bright light of Spider-Man: There’s no way home, it seems that Marvel Studios and Sony are working hard to get Tom Holland to appear in the MCU series. In preparation for that, an artist who has done quite a bit of concept art for Marvel Studios over the years came up with an idea of what Holland’s Spider-Man would look like if he went the Spider-Man route. Symbiote.
Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios said that Spiderman 4 has been working. What remains a question is just the next movie in Spiderman The series will deliver as a story. There are still some questions about whether Holland will return, though it looks like Marvel Studios and Sony are looking to reboot once again. One possibility for the main plot of the next film is that Holland’s Peter Parker is found and bonded to a symbiote wearing the famous black Spider-Man suit.
Thomas du Crest, concept artist for several MCU movies consists of Spider-Man: Far From Home, recently took to Twitter with his ideas on what the latest version of Spidey will look like if and when the symbiote storyline goes live. When posting a set of four different photos from his work, he said he’s also waiting for his predecessor to show the kind of concept art he’s made. There is no way home. Of the four pictures, du Crest first shows a head-on shot of Holland’s Peter Parker as the symbiote appears to be covering his body. The next photo shows the character wearing the full suit, including the mask. The third and fourth images are essentially miniatures depicting Spider-Man’s new all-black suit in all its glory.
This particular situation was made possible thanks to a credit post scene in Spider-Man: There’s no way home which sees Eddie Brock and Venom being transported back to their own universe as Doctor Strange is able to close the rifts in his reality. However, when Brock was sent back, he left behind a fragment of the symbiote. Their brief visit in the MCU is first shown in the post-credits scene of Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
Quite a few MCU fans believe that scene could be a hint of what they’ll see in Spiderman 4, especially since Parker’s friends and girlfriends have forgotten he even really exists. Of course, there are other theories that the sequel in this series could see the webhead fight against anyone associated with the Venom Fragment leave behind.
