Game Awards 2021 So many game announcements that there’s barely time to award prizes. We are not complaining. New games and the progress of titles in development is what we have been monitoring. One of the new titles revealed with a trailer at the ceremony was Dune: Spice Wars. You can see footage of the real-time strategy with 4X elements below.
The trailer is really like a teaser. It just shows a battle going on inside a city on Arrakis. You can hear various houses declaring their rights and intentions, including House Atreides, House Harkonnen and Fremen. And you can see a worm jump out of the sand for a moment.
As you would imagine, Dune: Spice Wars Set in Arrakis – that’s where the spice is. So that’s where the money is. You’ll be able to play as one of many factions, but the only two revealed so far are House Atreides and Harkonnen.
Dune: Spice Wars game elements
Are from Dune: Spice Wars including RTS and 4X game elements. You’ll be able to fight your enemies with your armies, dominate them with your economic might, defeat them with political maneuvering, and weaken them with a network of spies. But never forget the sandworms. All your carefully orchestrated plans (and armies) could be wiped out in an instant if one of these gigantic creatures decides to appear.
You’ll be able to use iconic chapters to search the landscape, revealing new points of interest that may include resources or villages. As you strengthen your grip on Arrakis, you will be able to further expand and grow in power.
