South Shore hit-and-run injures girl, 13, Chicago fire officials say

CHICAGO (WLS) – Chicago fire officials say a 13-year-old girl was injured in a fight on the South Shore Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Chicago Fire Department, the girl was hit by a car near Stony Island 73 at about 2:12 pm. She was taken to the University of Chicago Children’s Hospital for treatment, fire officials said. Her condition is currently unknown.

No further details about the incident or the vehicle involved have been released.
