CINCINNATI (AP) – A judge ordered a man to be charged plan to kill the nun members at an Ohio university to stay behind bars.

Magistrates Court Judge Stephanie Bowman on Friday cited a breach of the pardon order and the “grave nature of the charge” as reasons for the detention of 21-year-old Tres Genco.

Residents of Hillsboro, Ohio, appear in federal court in Cincinnati on charges of willful hatred and possession of a machine gun.

Defense attorney Richard Monahan sought to free his client to be his mother’s guardian, saying he served a state prison sentence based on similar evidence.
