Sonya Deville announces new member of Team Smackdown »FirstSportz

WWE Survivor Series 2021 just a few sleep away. This year’s build to the event has barely been fan-favorite – except for a few matches. The event was billed as a night where both WWE’s main roster brands clashed over each other for brand status. Champions from both brands collide.
But the highlight of PPV is the traditional 5v5 Elimination Card Team matches – each match for men and women. Prior to that, the build-up of the event consisted of several qualifying matches for the Superstars to claim a spot on the team. But this year WWE removed those matches. Teams are announced live.
But all of a sudden, a few weeks before WWE Survivor Series 2021, Aliyah was dropped from the team. She is part of the Smackdown team, which also has Sasha Banks, Shayna Baszler, Shotzi Blackheart and Natalya. But shortly after debuting on the Blue brand, Aliyah was dropped from the team by Sonya Deville. She recently revealed Toni Storm will be Aliyah’s replacement.
“With my quick access to #SurvivorSeries, I wanted to make sure each brand was represented by the best and brightest Superstars. So I’m excited to announce that TONI STORM will be the fifth and final member of the #Smackdown Women team. Congratulations and good luck on Sunday! ”– tweeted Sonya Deville.
