While Halo Infinite isn’t technically out for another week, fans are starting to find physical copies of the game in stores soon.
So far, Micosoft has had a very successful end to 2021, even with the ongoing hardware shortage of Xbox Series X. Thanks to Game Pass as well as dual release on PC platform, exclusive titles like Forza Horizon 5 witnessed unprecedented success after experiencing the biggest launch in Xbox and Game Pass history. In addition, Game Pass has continued to attract major games such as Outriders, Psychonauts 2, Back to 4 health, and more.
However, the biggest win for Microsoft in 2021 will probably be Halo Infinite. While the title received a major delay last year, pushing it out of the Xbox Series X launch window, the extra development time seems well worth it. In fact, 343 Industries surprised everyone by launching the following free multiplayer component Microsoft’s Big Xbox 20th Anniversary Event, which quickly saw players flood the service to begin to escalate. While fans continue to eagerly await the next chapter of the Master Chief saga, some are getting to work earlier than anticipated.
In spite of Halo Infinite The campaign is not scheduled to launch until December 8, some fans have discovered phsycial clones popping up on store shelves much prettier than anticipated. Tweets have begun to appear online of players, some of whom have received their pre-orders from stores, holding up wrapped boxes of the game. Twitter account Halo Polska posted two pictures of them holding the box, showing off the front and back of the box.
It is not yet known if the campaign will be online, as most online-oriented games need to have the server activated first, or at least wait a day for a patch before players can start progressing. The big concern for most people, however, is potential spoilers finding their way online, ruining the experience for those who can’t get a copy of it. Halo Infinite or start playing from Game Pass until the actual launch date.
In fact, Halo Infinite campaign vandals have proven to be a problem before the game came out. While the game’s opening cutscene was leaked on the web, many fans were disappointed by the fact that some content creators had early access to create excitement and hype. . Without the NDA in effect, this led to the creation of videos, some of which contained spoilers or other aspects many players wanted to discover for themselves. At this point, there’s nothing that can be done but simply try to avoid certain areas of the Internet for the next week or so.
Halo Infinite Releases December 8 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
Horizon: Forbidden West and Elden Ring may get the most attention of the new releases in February 2022, but Dying Light 2 can beat them both.
