HUNTINGTON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Medical doctors are calling a grandmother a “strolling miracle” after she survived COVID-19, and extra.

Tuesday she had an opportunity to reunite with a number of the individuals who helped save her life.

As CBS2’s Christina Fan reviews, to grasp the gratitude Alisa White feels returning to Huntington Hospital is to know the situation she was in when she was first admitted January sixth – in a medically induced coma with solely a ten% probability of survival.

“So we put a drain immediately in by the pores and skin into the contaminated fluid with only a small incision, and there have been different areas as nicely,” Armetta stated.

“She’s actually a strolling miracle,” Tzimas stated.

For White, the true miracle staff are the medical doctors who saved her life.
