Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre The most controversial mid-game joke in Super Bowl history.
Legendary rap duo Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre held a press conference for their upcoming Super Bowl performance. Queen of Soul Hip-Hop Mary J. Bligewho was joining them on stage, was also present.
The three music veterans talked about everything from their standout careers, Sunday’s game… and yesterday’s halftime performances.
When Dr. Dre told a reporter he wouldn’t give away any surprises, Snoop Dogg interfere:
“There won’t be any wardrobe malfunctions.”
Dre came across the reference and joked further:
“I had to talk to Snoop and [Eminem] pull out their *ses pen. ”
Eminem will reunite with his colleagues on the show.
Snoop’s joke could be a reference to Janet Jackson’s The infamous wardrobe malfunction during her 2004 Super Bowl game. It’s been almost 20 years since the incident happened, but the world hasn’t forgotten the moment a young person Justin Timberlake Exposed Janet’s nipples on national television. The unforgettable exhibition was recently mentioned in her new Lifetime documentary, Janet.
Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Bligeand Eminem will take place on February 13th. Los Angeles will host the big showdown at SoFi Stadium. Kendrick Lamar has also been advertised as a halftime act.
