Smithsonian opens its ?Futures? exhibition Nov. 20

“Futures” is a coming-out celebration for the Arts and Industries Constructing, the Smithsonian’s second-oldest construction, which opened in 1881 because the Nationwide Museum and was the primary house for most of the establishment’s hottest museums. Largely closed since 2004, the constructing at one time displayed the unique Star-Spangled Banner, the primary women’ robes and house rockets. With its stained glass home windows, elaborate flooring and painted arches, it has an old style exuberance, Goslins mentioned.
