Skyrim video shows what happens when players dump tons of books in one place
A persistent Skyrim player demonstrates what happens when dozens of books are placed in a single location.
For many fans of the game, one of the most appealing aspects of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is the ability to give the player a huge amount of creative freedom. Most of the quests found in Skyrim is open-ended, to the point where players can approach the same problem and solve it through wildly different methods. Although, as one player recently discovered, that same degree of creative freedom can be applied to the open world of Skyrim also.
A popular item that players often find whenever they enter a building or dungeon in Skyrim is book. Skyrim contains a surprising number of books, which can help players increase their ability stats, provide background information on specific topics in the game, and even initiate entire quests. In fact, a real player trying to collect every book in Skyrim and put them in a dedicated chest. Now, another player has placed all their books in a basin of water.
ONE Reddit A user named PanzerkampfIV decided to see what would happen if the player placed several dozen books in a container of clear water. Skyrim. The answer is that it slows down the frame rate to crawl, and it makes it almost impossible for players to leave the water, should they decide to jump in.
It’s unbelievable how often players can push Skyrim its limitations not only from a technological point of view but also from a creative point of view. Few players would think to put a pile of books in one of the underwater fixtures that lead to Dragonsreach in Whiterun and the results are pretty hilarious, to say the least.
The fact that players are still experimenting Skyrim’s The mechanics ten years after its release are a true testament to the game’s popularity and influence. Similar to placing a book in water, a player decided to use Fus Ro Dah on a large pile of skulls they did, just to see what would happen.
In any case, it will be interesting to see what the future holds The Elder Scrolls series moves forward. This upcoming E3 will mark the four-year anniversary of the first announcement of The Elder Scrolls 6. During that time, there were little or no additional development updates. With any luck, more info regarding The Elder Scrolls 6 will be revealed in the coming months.
