Skyrim Speedrun World Record Holder, Beat the World Record Again

Less than a week ago, a speed runner was able to break the world record for the fastest time to finish Skyrim, and now they have done it again.
Perhaps one of the things that attracts the speed enthusiasts community towards those who like The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is its absolute size. There’s definitely something about being challenged to finish a game of this caliber in record time. Although there are many games where newbies can learn to run as fast as Super Mario Odyssey, Bethesda’s open-world epic is probably not for the faint of heart. However, among those with more experience, it was possible to get to the end where Alduin was defeated as quickly as possible. What doesn’t always happen, however, is when a single runner sets a new world record and then beats it again soon after.
In a video uploaded to YouTube a few days ago, nucular user broke Skyrim the run time is almost a minute fast, completing the main plot in 1:11:22, according to the clock in the video. One minute doesn’t sound like much, but at running speed, every frame and every millisecond counts, so hitting a new world record by a margin of almost 60 seconds is quite an impressive feat, especially when this is a “no hiccup” run in which the player doesn’t use important game exploits to bypass large parts of the map.
NS previous world record for beating Skyrim is 1:12:15, which nucular did late last month. This in itself is faster than the previous WR, beating it within two minutes, and is achieved by a new trick discovered during one of the missions. Even though it’s over ten years old at this point, it’s impressive how fast players, and runners, are still figuring out what’s new about the game and if fans can use them to help beat the odds. game in faster time the better.
For the curious, the new technique for removing those extra seconds or minutes during a speed run involves the A Cornered Rat mission. During the mission, the player approaches Brynjolf of the Thieves. Before that point, however, the player must make a guard chase them through an underground passage. When the quest involving Brynjolf is completed, the player can be captured by guards who will escort them out of the area. This acts as a kind of teleport and will make it easier for you to get out of said area much faster.
Given the enormity of the game, it’s no surprise that fans are logging in so many hours Skyrim. There’s a huge amount of depth to the world and the story, but it’s also interesting to see how quickly everyone can get to the final moments. It remains to be seen whether nucular will beat this new world record, although they believe a time under 1:10 can be achieved.
